Cavity Dweller Suite
Miniature paintings 2024
Cavity Dwellers Suite playfully extrapolates upon a recently installed permanent sculpture at the new Pathways Park in Sandpoint, Seattle. This bronze and weathering steel sculpture, titled Woodpecker Housing for All, reveals the interior lives of 50+ animals that dwell in the cavities dug by pileated woodpeckers. My miniature paintings continue to play with this notion, including cavity dwelling faeries, artifacts, humans, and beyond.
